Kelty Law Offices has served municipal and business clients throughout Illinois and the Midwest since 1971. The firm is actively involved with its clients’ mergers and acquisitions, handling public utility commission regulatory approvals, private acquisition financings, corporate consolidations, and federal regulatory approvals.

In addition to our general and special municipal representation and our business practice, we have represented clients and businesses in antitrust, banking, class actions, construction law, contracts, commercial litigation, corporations, environmental matters, tax-exempt municipal financing, corporate financing, government relations and lobbying, insurance coverage, trademark law, real estate, securities litigation, and complex business transactions. We have extensive court and administrative litigation experience in State and federal courts.

Kelty Law Offices has advised and assisted cities, villages, special districts and counties in the structuring of municipal finance since the early 1970s. The firm has been Redbook listed since 1978. We have served in various capacities as bond counsel, issuer’s counsel, underwriter’s counsel and borrower’s counsel in excess of $900 million in financings.
